hilux surf door lock

hi all

just joined today in search of info to find a new lock for my 3lt surf. shes been such good truck and now she needs a new door lock as the central locking key fob has died. anyone recently bought/sourced one of these?

You may already know this - if it is the original fob for the 3rd gen truck Toyota can replace it. Mine was starting to stick and on enquiring I got a quote for £180! Fortunately, I was able to get it working again after taking it apart and cleaning it.

thanks for the info. managed to get a new lock set for 165 quid direct from toyota in the end. anyone else find some dealers easier to get bits of than others?
