Does any one else get charged by paypal when they send payment as a gift ?

Been asked to do it a few times now and I always end up paying extra

I thought it was only over a certain amount you pay a fee on gifts.

If monies are sent as a gift, the sender has the option to pay the fees that the recipient would otherwise be charged.

I do this when I sell cheap stuff on here, If I have to pay the fees; I'd end up out of pocket.

All PayPal transactions incur fees at some point.

Yes paypal dont do anything for nothing if its sent as a gift you pay charges if sent to purchase buyer pays, in short someone always pays.
