Still looking for my first surf and still picking all your surf brains is it a good idea to buy a surf with a recon or factory recon engine ?also is it a good idea to get one with a recon head ? any help would be grateful

Would have thought a factory recon engine was a plus point, but not a
recon head. Where the heads are concerned, its new or nothing.
