  • the nuts are captive built with in the snorkel.... no access from inside the tube.
    i think the first bit if right about having the bolts inplace as you rivet it to the pillar, then get a small open ended spanner to do them up

      • I've not opened one of these yet, but on safari ones you bolt the bracket to the snorkel, then just screw the bracket to the A pillar with screws into plastic inserts you fit in the A pillar, then just tighten nuts with a spanner. Do these have rivets for the bracket then?

            • on mine you rivet the plate to the pillar but make sure the other flat surface is facing nearest the door and then you use the 3 bolts to fix the snorkel to the bracket
