Hey, Vince. Do you, by any chance have any of those billet aluminium rag joints left, for sale? If so, could you spare me one, and roughly how much would it cost, posted to Chorley?....Thanks.

They're not ally Mick, they're 5mm thick steel.
They will probably be about £7 including delivery if you still want one.

    Cheers.

Cheers, Vince. I didn't realise that they were only 5mm. As well as stiffening up the steering, I was looking for a spacer ( Similar to pics ), to help lengthen the steering column when I do the 2" body lift.....Any advice?

You don't really need a spacer when lifting the body 2" on a 2nd gen as there's enough length on the splines for adjustment. My 'spacer' is mainly for taking the slop out of the rag joint.

Thanks for that, Vince. I'll PM you with my details. If you let me know your Paypal details, I'll get a mate to send money, as I don't have an account.

Mike make sure you undo the 3 joints on the steering column when you lift it.There's 2 on the shaft under the bonnet and 1 under the dash just before it goes through the bulkhead. This way you will have plenty of splines like Vince says
