  • Ignition On warning

    I want to disable it, it's most annoying. Is it as simple as unplugging the wee module thing, or is it more complicated than that?

    I did mine the other year, you just snip one of the wires but for the life of me I can't remember which one it is.
    I did a write up on here but I'm not sure if the 2nd gens are the same.

      Might do that myself, it is annoying i must admit, any idea where it is on the 2nd gen?

        I wouldn't have thought they were that different, I'm sure someone did it on a 2nd gen & the wire was in the same place as a 3rd gen " but don't quote me on that".

          The actual beeper is bolted to the dash rail up behind the glovebox, haven't worked out how to disable it yet though, but it must be part of the glowplug circuit. 3.0 Surfs don't have them for some reason.
