  • Caliper exchange/overhaul?

Is there someone who can provide this service? My drivers side one has one stuck piston and a burst seal. 3rd gen petrol.

Are the 3rd gen calipers all the same?

Should all be the same. Weld around inside of piston to remove. The weld bead will shrink piston as it cools. You'll need a new piston.

This place stocks parts for 4runners and landcruisers. Maybe try and find out which landcruisers have the same calipers as the 3rd gens. (prado ?)

Had a look but can't figure out what I need on that site you posted wishbone, it would certainly be a lot cheaper than buying new calipers.

Nev, you got any idea what pats I need to order?

I'll need piston and new seals.

I've just checked Roughtrax's site and it seems that the 3rd gen has the same calipers as the KZJ90 / KZJ95 landcruisers.

Please double check this but it seems that this is the page for you.

Yoshie is gonna measure up the caliper tomorrow and compare with whats on that page.
The disc size is the same, so far so good.

Some more info that may help although aftermarket part numbers will be different over there.
