    Hi all have just joined as looking at buying a surf for towing mostly.
    Will be asking lots of questions so any help is appreciated.

              Welcome Mark. Do plenty research, and make good use of the FAQ's and search facility. Go for a bigger engine if you're towing a lot ( 3 rd gens have a higher towing capacity ). Very importantly, make sure that the coolant system is in tip top condition....Good luck ...Mick.

                      Are you buying a surf regardless of towing or because of towing.
                      If the latter, I'd suggest there are better tow vehicles...

                      However there are none which are more versatile! I use mine for everything including towing and some 'laning. It's also my daily drive for my building business...
