Welcome Mark. Do plenty research, and make good use of the FAQ's and search facility. Go for a bigger engine if you're towing a lot ( 3 rd gens have a higher towing capacity ). Are you buying a surf regardless of towing or because of towing.
If the latter, I'd suggest there are better tow vehicles...
