  • Another Head gone west

I thought this beautiful relationship was going to last forever. but after nearly 2 years seems she doesn't love me anymore.

Never overheated her, changed oil and filters every 6 months, new exhaust, front pads and calipers, and nice pink antifreeze..... all over the road.

Still starts and drives great, seems such a shame to scrap her.

Scrap?... if you do I'll have the ariel, spoiler, door trim and the cubby box between the front seats.

Would it not be more cost effective/logical to repair her?

No more that 4k a year

From what I have read here, new head is a grand+++ fitted, so I'd prob rather put that towards a new truck, possibly a Gen3 that's already had the head done.

Might stick this one on ebay with an honest description, and see what transpires.

I guess you will be pleased ( I am )that my 4 runner will live on - sold it today to a nice guy from Swansea who drove it 120 miles home with a couple of top-ups... and on 90% veg.

Sorry in a way to see it go , but I have too much on at the mo to bother with fixing it myself.

What can I expect in the way of withdrawal symptoms?
