Cheers for the link Balllsy, sounds like a great weekend although I wish there was a little time during proceedings for a couple of beers!

Thanks Bushwhacker, I knew that but must've caught 5 in error an not noticed. Probably just as bad to be that crap at typing as not it is for not knowing your engine size

welcome buddy, going off road is great fun, you don't have to do extreme and you can still have a great time.

just to note (vince) the MPG is really bad, so so bad, worse than a jet, and uphill worse than a rocket on the launch pad taking off. And muddy is best, hides rusty rear quarters, corroded alloys, gets more looks, doesn't look like an anal fart mobile (grand vitara).

but the you will eventually have to clean it. and its not fun, especially as it gets everywhere, and i mean everywhere.
well, that was a bad idea!

Nice and shiny next to the River Trent.

I never intending buying a Surf to do off road stuff I just wanted a good 4x4 for bad weather with good storage space but the more I read about the exploits of members here the more I am seriously thinking about it after all, a dirty Surf is a proper Surf

I've read about some of the different meets you do, anything coming up soon that might be suitable for an off-road virgin? Don't forget I've only had the truck 5 days and havn't touched hi/lo yet let alone a clue what really to do with it
Welcome to the clubhouse, Mark. Excellent colour choice. I'd loose the oversize graphics, and wind deflectors, but, to each his own, and all that. No doubt someone will be along shortly to give you their opinion on A bars...........

I have to say MWS that I never really liked the wind deflectors when I saw them other vehicles but they are warming on me and last night when it P***** it down it was great to have the windows open and not get soaked. If I do keep them I'll need to get some new seals for them.

I'm happy with the A bar although originally I always fancied a full on Bull Bar.

As for the graphics I'm unsure. If I take them off will I be left with a ghost of the text?
