  • Not a SURF but I still like it

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1992-NISSA...item2a1e03974a

Dated, and not a Surf, but I like it. Many years ago I had a 4.2 Petrol one. Always preferred the look of the SWB over the LWB. This looks like a lot of truck for not too much money.

Aus Holden Sticker on a Nissan bonnet? Weird, it's like sticking FORD on a Yota!

Other than that, a fine looking motor.

Badge engineering, John. It's been going on for ever. Holden have put their badge on SJ 410/413's Jimnys Troopers And Fronteras, to neme but a few. Speaking of Fronteras, did you know that in the USA, they also came badged as Hondas?......And finally, dont forget that in this country, in the early nineties, you could buy a Hilux pickup badged as a Volkswagen Taro

            No. It's volts, not valves.

Ah, the venerable Trooper, sold in Aus as the Holden Jackaroo. (What were they thinking!) Just out of intrest, John, in what market were they badged as Bedfords? That's a new one to me.

See lots of them over here. I'm not really a fan but I like the wide body ones.

                      They're mucho expensive over here.
                      Oh Nana, what's my name?
