What is the thing in the photo I attached?(It fell out and found it hanging around the brake pedal)

Plus, what is that computer/controller found below the cover below steering wheel? It has a red LED flashing and there are a couple of switches (all are off except for one). What does it do? Should I turn all the switches ON?

my bet is that it is something to do with the alarm/immobiliser, i have a small black box there on mine that fell down, which is for alarm, cable tied it back up out of the way.

if you surf is running and starting fine, cable tie them out of the way and DO NO PLAY WITH THEM.

Squinting hard I can see written, door bonnet, park brake which kind of smaks of an alarm / immobiliser, the separate box near the brake pedal seems to have a microswitch

I'd say leave it alone and tie it up out of the way
