I've been looking at 'cheap' snorkels on fleabay. Does anyone have any experience of any of these? Specifically, I'd be intersted to know how well they fit and just how bad the quality of the plastic is?

There's another option for you here just to add to the confusion

Yeah, I was looking at them. That's definitely another option, in fact if other people have said they're ok, they might be the way to go!

I have the 2nd one..it's ok and does the job. Not fiberglass as it says. Just watch for import tax our end, as with all stuff outside the EU.
        .... Which was nice.

Thanks, that's just the sort of info I was after. Did you fit it yourself? If so, was the template reasonably accurate, or were there problems making it fit?

          Thanks for your reply.

              Mmm £260 worth of ########

Can't blame people for looking for a reasonably priced alternative.

Yeah I've fitted a safari to my mates truck and I can understand why they cost so much (specialist market etc) but I would feel bad spending nearly 300 on a bent plastic pipe and a couple of fittings. Maybe if I had nothing else to spend on the truck it wouldn't seem so much....but at the moment whoo ha !
