  • Plasma Review

Some will recall I bought the baby R-Tech Plasma cutter and was raving about how good it was for a sub £400 machine. I had used it for coping tube mainly. However, today I used it to cut 4mm sheet in runs over 1m to make a welding table top. Again I can't praise this little machine enough, power set on 5 it goes up to 10 and these pictures are of the undressed results they haven't even been touched by a chipping hammer.

If you need a cutter you would not be disappointed with an R-Tech

have to agree with you there - plasma cutters are the dogs dangly bits for sheet cutting. no distorsion and clean slag free cuts.

r-tech stuff seems to be decent quality too - the ac/dc tig inverters from them are nice to use as well.
