Did you slacken all 3 steering column sliding joints?

    How much lift?

Gear selection isn't normally an issue, which gears can't you get?
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

there are the 2 joints on the shaft under the bonnet and the 3rd is under the dash. You will need to file the hole in the bulk head so the steering column is clear of the bodywork

the gear lever you may or may not have to do but if it is not going into gear properly then you will need to file/cut a bit out of the trans tunnel to allow the gear lever to seat in gear properly

Check the cable hasn't cought on something. I don't think anyone's had gear change issues after a small body lift (until now).
