Mpg 2.8 hilux

I have been searching everywhere and I cant find the mpg of a 2.8 hilux turbo diesel? Ash

Probably because there is no factory 2.8 turbo diesel. There's some conversions with the Surf turbo gear bolted on. Also fuel consumption varies greatly, but as a guide, maybe somewhere around 10 to 12Ltrs/100Km.

They will also be mechanical pump, as it's very rare for anyone to actually adapt a Crank Sensor to these so the EFI pump can be used.

Saw one and couldn't work it out and also asked another hilux enthuasist and lover and he said he didn't know anything or even heard of one maybe it was a 3l but had 2883cc or something.

You can get a 2.8 N/A 2nd Gen.

Like Nev said, if its a 2.8 turbo it'll have a 2.4 turbo and manifold fitted by someone.

The 3Ltr 1KZ engine is 2982cc. The 3L (2.8Ltr) is a 2779cc.Take a look at the engine number. That will tell you what it is.
