Is the diameter alot less than the original wheel? does it sharpen up the steering feel?
The last time I changed a wheel was from MK2 escort, something like 16" down to 12", it was harder to steer, but alot more responsive. just wondered how it alters the surf?
And is that a custom paint job or off the shelf?
oh, and is the horn still in the middle?

I bought it second hand . Well I say second hand it was brand new in the box as he bought it to put in his car and never got a boss for it lol. So I paid 30 for it . As for the steering it feels a lot nicer and sharper being a slightly smaller wheel . And yes the horn is in the middle still.
I may paint it white , I hadn't actually thought of that but you've put the idea in my head now.
P.s. you built those bumpers yet ;-)

Hey Steve. Just done the same, myself. Went from the leather jobbie to a suede deep dish (Forty quid, delivered). Not sure if it looks better, but the suede feels fantastic.

P.S. I'll be in touch about the body lift, if you're still up for it. Just got to get the MOT sorted in a couple of weeks.
