Had a run in with my neighbour this afternoon, after 10 years of constant harrassment from her the crazy biatch started a fight with me in the street because I told her to get a life and stop focusing on what we do in our own house and garden. Anyway to top it off the fuzz arrived she claimed I hit her first, whereas I stated(truthfully) she grabbed me first. She ripped my top and I broke her glasses and the copper said we either both get done for criminal damage and assualt or accept a fixed penalty for affray and a £80 fine. We both accepted the latter and I'm sure thats not going to be the end of the matter. Like I said to the copper, there has been ample times when I would gladly have lamped her one but as I dont want a criminal record I've restrained myself, but as their was no witnesses its my word againts hers. She is one of those people who know the ins and outs of a ducks arse and claims everything under the sun. It makes me mad that I fell for falling into a fight with her because she was such a drama queen screaming and rolling around in the road to get attention even though I was nowhere near her! She even had an ambulance come to check her out ffs...Fair play I think the cops saw through her Bull....I suppose at least she got a fixed penalty for £80 too, but the cops said for me not to go near her unless I've a witness in case she does something again

Not quite right, technically it will still be recorded against you as a public order offence (probably sec4) so will show if any perspective employer was to do a search.Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

As Ploddit(Pat) said,I would go with the camera, but dont tell anyone you have it,make sure it covers only your driveway/front of house area and can record everything that happens in that area,if she is odd you never know what she may do.
I know, I have one of my very own,I wish I could upload the look of surprise on his face when he realised I had put up cameras, priceless.

You dont know what weird neighbours are. I once had neighbours who took out an interdict against me , to stop me from filming them on common land round our properties. In this interdict they claimed not only that I had installed a camera, but that they had glanced through my lounge window and seen themselves on TV.
There was no camera so god only knows what they were on aboutСви можемо

Surely it would be better to move, ten years of grief and you are still living there?
I used to think my neighbour was a complete a hole but then I realised that he probably thinks the same of me.
My wife was always telling me to take the higher ground and ignore him, well it worked and we now actually talk to each other !! and act all neighbourly .
Try it you never know.Eat.Sleep.Surf.Repeat.
