There's always room for humour even the most dire circumstances, its often the only thing that stops you going postal, and what makes this country great.

I've read no end of epic true life storys of people overcoming immense metal strain during wars and personal adversity and what sets them apart is the amazing often ironic sence of humour that sees them through.

This and the pickup pic recently are just something to chuckle at about life and completely harmless (IMHO obviously).

At the end of the day, whether your are the moral world police, or bigoted sheep like these terrorists you need a motor that isn't going to leave you stranded, and its seems to be a Toyota.

i dont feel theres any great need to qualify my comments but if you insist i will.The picture wasn,t posted to gain any 'kudos' or to 'brag.It was mearly a light hearted observation and not an endorsement of the taliban although i do greatly admire their choice of vehicle! If you lack the humour to comment on a post in the spirit that it was made then thats probably more your problem than mine.I dont really have either the time nor inclination to get into the internet equivilent of ' you spilt my pint mate ' so il make this my last post on this matter. If you really feel you need an outlet for your obviously negative mindset then maybe you should start your own forum.How about ' we hate everyone and everything in life because we,re deeply unhappy people'.Granted its not the most upbeat title but i,m sure you,d find 1000,s of like minded people you could converse with

I've had the good fortune to meet both Tony and Andy(Albannach). After Reading your post, rkm77, you are making a sweeping generalisation, based on someones typewriten prose. Tony is a very pleasant person, and Albannach equally so. If someone offers an opinion, giving it the high and mighty will make you lots of friends...
I should also say that I'm an English man living in Scotland...which suits, as I don't have to have personal contact with lots of opinionated princesses.

Bob cant be the pope,my gym master said if I did him a big favour that I could be pope,at least thats what I think he said.
Looking at the picture one or two things seem not quite right,its got plastic door protectors,chrome surrounds to the indicators,and the roof bars look like the ones off a Peugeot 406 estate,some of the shiny brigade might be daft enough to alter their trucks in that way but I dont know about gents from warmer climes,could the picture possibly be a fake??????
Why are they all in their jim jams,it must be freezing dressed like that?

However that detracts from the more important issue of who is right in this thread.
