  • White fields?

    Hi all,

    Been over to Blyton airfield today, on the way we noticed
    a lot of fields were covered with a "white cover", looks like snow
    from a distance, anyone have any idea's? Tried Googling it, and
    nothing! Just being nosey.

    Gman.

    I don't know the specific area you're talking about but there are fields local to us covered in plastic to protect what I presume are crops from frost/pests.

        Its either Lime, or white fleece/polythene to warm the ground/germinate seeds I reckon.

          Could be Strawberries covered in plastic
          , they do that around here to get them into the shops early.

              hey . . is it in strips? sounds like corn growing . . i know as just finished doing mine!!! nearly as nice a job as sh*t spreading!! at least i dont dream of covering folk in plastic as much as i dream about covering people in sh*te!

                              Most likely a SSR-X as most if not all the 2.4s are.

                              We are experiencing some difficulties at the moment with some members who feel they have to post something, even if it has nothing to do with the thread's subject.
