  • 2" body lift manual transmission

    Quick question :
I've ordered my 2" body lift for the new truck but I havnt lifted a manual transmission surf yet, so is there anything different or extra I need to do compared to a body lift on an auto truck.

Will pop over when mines working again...need to see the white bison before its been Animalised!
Gear lever might need extending, other than that, what else different is there?

Oh dear what's wrong with yours now mate.

It's already being animalised . So far I've
        Removed rear bumper
        Removed tow bar
        Removed little mirror
        Removed sidesteps
        Fitted stereo
Had the interior valeted today which took 5 hours and he used 4 gallons of water and chemicals to remove all the dirt , but now its soooooo clean inside .
Yoshie sliders turning up next week and body lift ordered.

You might need that 2" extended gear linkage thingy that I'd got (if you remember lifting mine?). I'll dig it out and stick it in the post to you...

Blimey, Steve. You don't hang about much, do you..........I've had my sliders, and 2" lift kit for ages, and I still cant find someone that I can trust to do the body lift, reasonably local to me..........
