Now I own a 3litre , am I allowed to point and laugh at 2.4 owners like other 3litre owners?
And yes I have realised how much more powerful and smoother the 3litre engine actually is :-o

Tbh I won't slag a 2.4 off . The black one I just sold was an awesome truck that I had for 3 years . But when you get in a 3litre and especially a manual , you notice the difference straight away.

i have got better fuel economy on the 3l. than the 2.4, and yes smoother engine , more power.
not as good looking as the 2.4, (yet)

Fuel economy is miles better (pardon the pun) I did 140miles yesterday on less than half a tank

My 3.0 is a better truck, but I liked my 2.4 more.

I loved my 2.4 and spent a lot of time doing it up . The 2.4s are great and I don't regret owning 2 of them in the last 6 years . But the 3.0l is awesome . Flies on the motorway and being a manual it accelerates away from junctions lol.
As I said I was only joking as I had the occasional jibe thrown at me for the old one being a 2.4 .
