I was going to post a picture of a rather nice butterfly that I saw in Lanzagrotty but the connection here is crappy ...

It was just a week for me and the boss to check the place out before going back in June with the kids - can you believe that 19 year olds WANT to go on holiday with their parents ???

We did a couple of coach trips as we were likely to see more and learn more than just trolling about by ourselves. As a result we WON'T be staying in Costa Teguise again (Far too windy for the boss) but we quite like Playa Blanca which is handy for Timanfaya and doing the 4x4's/off road buggies as well as the dolphins and whales

TBH I was expecting it to be like Spain but it wasn't - the people are great and commited to keeping the place looking good

yeap its very different from mainland spain,(geographically it should belong to africa) but every island is very different from each other, you cam convince your boss to go 6 times more, one each island.

I saw FZ at the Empire Pool Wembley in the early 70's - cracking gig but he played it pretty straight with no mucking about which was a bit of a shame
