It could be that someone tried to delete a post , and it's deleted the whole thread .

Yes could be as Andy said. The forum has a few bugs but hopefully they don't cause too much problems. I want to wait for the full release of the software before I upgrade from the current Beta version. There are a couple of later beta versions available but it isn't easy or risk free updating a live board even with backups so I want to minimise the aggro.
Hope it's not a problem.
