My teenage years was spent "forced" to listen to Pink Floyd amongst others ,their album artwork always intrigued me.

I never realised that album cover was a actual place as I grew up in the sprawling metropolis of Flushing.

You can imagine my surprise years later finding out that it was a REAL building,and later on still I would actually see this and other places I had only seen on the telly and read about from a Monopoly Board .

Most probably the latest owners are waiting for it to fall into even greater disrepair and then get permission to level it and put up a nice shiny apartment block

It'd be a crime to let it fall apart it needs to be put to a real use - some sort of urban sports centre would be a great idea

It's an expensive hobby! One of my friends is out working in Tignes at the moment, it's her second ski season and she reckons it's one of the best things she's ever done.
