I like the way the wheels seem to change, depending on what angle you look at it from...

From what I recall you can have practically anything you like on the front plate in Canada ...

When I was on exercise in BATUS in 1978 there was a pickup with the front plate RSM - no prizes as to who it belonged to !

It was a big drop, but I made it :p haha. That was at a car show my friend's H1 hummer was on the other side and a 6x6 military vehicle were on the other side of the entrance.

License plates vary by province. In manitoba, you need a front and rear plate, in alberta you only need a rear plate. And in manitoba you can pay a fee and apply for custom "vanity plates" like mine that work as ordinary plates, but say whatever you want (so long as it is approved)

And I've had about 4 different sets of wheels on this rig so they seem to change after every few progress pics haha. Looking for set #5 now

Nice truck and practiclally identicle to mine when i got it apart from the sunroof and rims, licence plates are great, although i can just imagine what would happen here if you were allowed to put whatever on

Nice to see you posting here Brad! I've always liked your truck, it's partially responsible for me looking at Surf's in the 1st place.

Thanks Ian. I really like your acura and was actually trying to get my ex to make hers look similar to yours haha. And for the plates you have to fill out a short application so all the plates stay G rated. Haha

Hah, forgot I had this thread. I guess a few more update photos would be nice. I kind of ruined the truck, it isn't nearly as shiny and pretty anymore lol

I have since done a complete engine rebuild, installed LC springs and new shocks. New wheels and tires, new bumpers and rock sliders, 9000lb winch, cd/dvd deck with all new speakers and subwoofer, and the roof rack. Next plan is to buy narrower wheels as these are way too wide and heavy for the 2.4
