I still check all the 3rd gens on ebay even after buying one, it kills the time. Saw that one yesterday, you have to question the quality of the LPG install if it's already failing on one cylinder. Plus it looks tatty with that odd wing. The man obviously is a procrastinator, I wonder what else he's been meaning to get around to... ?

Nice looking truck, could be a bargain depending on bids

Any misfire on LPG motors are 99% of time just iffy ignition electrics, you need bang up to scratch leads and plugs at all times on LPG.

Or it could the 1% that has eaten the valve seats due to lack of lubrication in LPG, and needs new heads.

I'd give it a second look if you're intersted in a V6, been out and about a bit in Shafts120's 3.4 that I've lifted and even on 33's its a very gutsy motor, even for an auto on big tyres. I'm amazed how much more power there is compared to a 2nd Gen 3.0 V6. Its quite noticably quicker and smoother than an oil burner 3rd Gen, think of it as a sensible Lexurf, and you'll get the idea.

No, just look at the members list for the same user name as his ebay ID. He,s only made a slack handful of posts so you wont learn much.

If you try and contemplate the oxymoron "sensible Lexurf", then your head is liable to explode...

I had an ongoing bad missfire on a 4L LPG Cherokee years ago and turned out to be the coil breaking down when warm and not giving quite 100%. No issue at all on petrol. Took ages to find and an un-needed replacement LPG control module

My experience of LPG is great until you have a problem then there is a whole load of other technology to work through and tends to be a process of elimination....as previously stated ignition has to be absolutely 100% spot on ie good leads, properly routed etc

                plus side very cheap motoring
