I did "get" the point James was making about having fun at lower speeds. My main critacism of the M3.

I've not driven an M3, but I found that an M5 had more power than it could handle. Traction control on; it cuts the power constantly to stop you crashing. Traction control on; you cut the power constantly to stop you crashing.

I'm all for thrashing a small car but I'm not sure about the wobbly thing being good. I like the combination of small engine and lots of grip.

Anyway, yes, it was rubbish last night.
