How cold is it where you are?

Just got in from letting the surf and GSI run on tick-over for a while and its very very cold out there! We live near Cambridge and at 7 this morn it got down to -15 and its about -10 at the mo. So how cold is it around your way?

My car has shown -8, but the lowest the weather station has recorded (in the same place) is -6. Did have to rock the mondeo last night to free the rear brake pads where it's been sat for a few days, where I'm cycling to work all the time now.

Oh temperature guage where I am at work is currently reading -2.1. At the other end of the site (by Southampton water) is reading -7.

-10 here at the moment,over night lows of -13,and has been about the same for the last 2 weeks.

A boring +8 although, it went down to +6 over night. You don't need anti freeze here but we did have 3cm of snow last winter, for 2 days. The mainland sounds less and less attractive..........
Talk about wind and that's a different matter.

its about +8 here coldest we got this yr was -4 an that was only once.
last yr we were gettin -16 at nite an around -8 to -10 durin the day

A smashing day up here in Sutherland. I had a walk by the River Carron with the camera and didn't even need a jacket.

18:48 and +6.4C. It did drop to -4.1C at about 23:00 last night though...

I can post up continuous records for the last three months if you like, but that would be a bit nerdy.
