Another interview today

It went well and is for a skip hire company.There is only 1 job going for the driver and they are making a new job up.I got home and after 5 mins later the phone went and they said because i haven't got skip experience they are offering that job to another guy.They offered me the new job they are making up though and i start on the 20th of this month.I will be making sure skips are empty and ready for the drivers and sorting the recycling stuff and then taking the skips to the landfills etc for emptying.The role will be a bit like a yard foreman type thing so i am well happy now

I am well happy especially after only being home for 5 mins they rang up and offered me the new job they are setting up.My notice is going in tomorrow with Merc and i can't wait till next Friday when i leave there

well put my notice in today and thought the manager was gonna hit the roof.He asked if there was anything that would tempt me to stay and i said no.He then asked if i would extend my notice to 2 weeks as its leaving them in the shit due to the parts delivery driver is off sick for another few weeks.
I don't think i will be there an extra week though and my last day is next Friday
