Does anyone know how the vac pipe's are fitted on the r/h/s on a 2nd gen manual gearbox. Mine have perished and come away so i have know idea where each one goes. Have tried the search but all i can see is the ADD pipes. Also would this stop the 4WD working? Thanks in advance.

There's no vacuum hoses on the gearbox. The only hose is a vent hose for the Transfer Case Motor. Water and dirt can get into the motor if the hose is damaged, which corrodes the internals of the motor.

They are breathers like Nev said, a short one links the two gear lever fittings together, and a longer one goes from the solenoid to a fitting near and down the first short one.
