  • Wind Deflectors

    Hi all

Could anyone tell me how I remove the wind dflectors without damaging them,if its possible??
They seem to have a plastic stud pushed through into a button, but I'm not sure if this is a one way/single use affair!

    Cheers

Mine has small screws, have the plactic studs on yours got a small center bit, if so pokeing than in releases the stud, post a close up pic if you can,
Too young to die and too old to give a toss

3.0 ones are different to 2.4 ones.

Just carefully and squarely pull them out, (or push from behind) and hold the back bit with your finger and they come apart ok.

May be a little brittle if its really cold, so go easy.

It's quite easy - bring your truck to the isle of Coll and leave it out in a winter gale, typically around 100mph. Mine are now, probably, on the Isle of Eigg, the mainland or even Norway for all I know. As to whether they are still in one piece I've no idea. But I won't bother to try and fit any more, Coll is just toooo extreme.
Anyhow, I hope you have more luck than me.... in that I got mine off but I've no idea where they are.
