Turbo question ?

My Turbo sounds like a "bike wheel spinning with something sticking in the spokes"

Is there a fix for it as it is also leaking oil?

Also can I swap my turbo from my "2.4 EFI Diesel Turbo" to my "2.4 D Turbo 2LT"

Turbos are the same, its its noisy and leaking then just bin it and fit the other one.

If the bearing are so knackered the vanes are rubbing then you want get it off ASAP, as it'll be swallowing any metal shavings off the rubbing parts.

Thanks Tony I will brave the weather and do it Today is it a fairly straight forward unbolt job ? or more involved ?

The inner lower oil feed pipe nut can be a little hard to reach, apart from that its not that bad.

Easier with O/S front wheel removed and get to underneath stuff through the filter opening (and a body lift makes it even easier to reach stuff.)

Its one of the few jobs that is far easier on a 2.4 than a 3.0.
