  • Stolen Mountain Bikes

A mate has had 2 Mountain bikes stolen. Can you keep an eye out for them, They are rare, so if they surface, they'll be spotted. They were stolen in the Falkirk area, but could turn up anywhere:

"Burgled last night, bike nicked amongst other stuff… anyone in the biking community hears or sees anything about a blue transition TR250 or a black and red carbon fibre specialized stumpjumper s-works fsr let me know…cheers…Or if anyone else has any leads they would be much appreciated."

If you see them, can you give me a shout?
    Cheers

Posted this on a mtb forum on which I am a member. Plenty of people in Scotland on that forum. You never know...

        Keep an eye on Gumtree.

We've just had a fair few of these down in Edinburgh. My XC training bike got stolen, but never found. My dad said that his lot busted a gang selling them on Gumtree.

I'll keep an eye out around here.

Bugger - I suspect Jimster's posted on the one I'm a member of.

Still, with CF, you can guarantee that the thief will faceplant suddenly one day when the headtube breaks off the frame.

It would seem that nothing is safe these days, there are some really unscrupulous b**tards about. I remember when you didn't use to have to lock your doors etc, I hope he gets his bikes back.
