  • One horsepower model

Had the one horsepower vehicle in the workshop today, needed it's boots changing.
    Well it is a 4x4.
It's Peggi the Halflinger, only had him a week.

No, not yet, I'm not really a horsey person, I got it for the kids, but it's a full time job to tell you the truth.
It's a mountain haflinger just under 3 years old.
I had it's shoes taken off and it's feet filed down today. I think he needs to lose his nutz soon as well.

Its normally for the best, dobbins are opinionated enough without them, with them you're in for a wild ride is anything is in season within miles....

Boys are more sensible than girls though, so you got that right.

I know zero about horses. We bought a female Haflinger about 6 weeks ago, the paperwork said she was 12 years old.
When I had the guy round to sort her feet out, he said she was a grandmother (at least 20 odd years old) and had laminitus. which until now I thought was a type of flooring.
Luckily we managed to give it back and get our money back.
            Whatever next...clocking horses.
