I bought my first truck (a Surf) in August this year and I'm 20. The insurance on Admiral multicar policy (my parents have their cars and my old one in it already) was pretty good. So far though, I've destroyed my savings for it on a battery, a starter, 2 alternators , a couple of funny decals and engine fluids. Got the rear brakes to fiddle with now, something isn't quite right.

Still well happy with it! Great getting the landy fanboys to take their words back.

When you say 'old' surf do you mean 1st gen? or 2nd gen? because I found my 2nd gen with 127,000 Kms on it, which was jolly nice.
