  • Trailer Insurance - any reccos?

Might be getting a new trailer soon, and as it will cost 10 times what my current one cost me, I don't want it disappearing overnight...
Any reccomendations on insurance and locks?

I haven't got a shotgun, nor do I fancy sleeping on a bed of wood, but thanks anyway Teabag...

      So,
Can anyone reccomend any companies for trailer insurance, or failing that, where I can buy a shotgun and a comfy pillow?

Assuming it will be in use pretty often your best bet will probably be a wheel clamp and a hitchlock on it, as well as maybe sticking a ground anchor on your driveway (or wherever you plan to park it up) and using a hefty chain through the frame of the trailer into the ground.

Ultimately, nothing will stop someone stealing it if they really want it but those things should make it more time consuming for someone to half-inch it.

If it's for something much less frequently used you can get "square wheels" (for want of a better way of describing them) but that means putting on the normal wheels every time you want to use it. Works well for my dad's caravan which is parked up most of the time though.

Can't be much help with the insurance side of things though. Sorry matey!
