Speedometer Sensor

think i have found it is this the one that controls solenoids

speedo is working fine but can only pull away in 1st so dont think the gears are dropping down

doesn't happen all the time and is usually ok when I've been on the motorway or have had my foot down

oh and if I take my foot off the gas should the rev counter needle drop to the tickover position stupid question I know but wanted to check

dont suppose there anyone near buy that i can borrow a Air Flow sensor from just to eliminate
