Just a normal day here, christmas in Greece isn't till 7th Jan, even then not much happens, we don't have the queues like you do, so shopping takes 15 mins. To every one who is working, have as good a day as possible, now its time for me sausage egg and chips.

            !

My eye was hurting last night, but just put it down to dry contacts lenses....
Pain killers during the night, unable to open my right eye this morning and very sensitive to light to the degree I couldn't see my son open his presents....
down the hospital at 9am and conjuctivitis confirmed. no pharmacy till 12 though...
got the drugs, and by 2pm started to be able to keep my eyes open and see without serious stabbing eye pain.
I'm not a wuss, but this was bad.
drugs now working, son loves his car, a lot. batteries $hite, mrs wolfie perfected a J turn within seconds of having a go...
AND I GOT OUT OF COOKING!

            Every cloud and all that...

So even though we had a Fecking painful start to the day, overall, I think its been pretty damn good today.

Wasn't the best xmas here either Andy, I might have wanted to swap places with you at a few points yesterday. Back in work today though, busy as hell and lots to do.

Enjoy yourself when you do get some time off.

Thing is next year there won't be a RC car for him to open...
But I can't complain, all better and everyone is happy/full of food/beer/festive cheer, no one's arguing and we've got plenty of turkey left.
                  No "Bah humbug" here, sorry!

After taking the family for £850 worth of food last night; the eldest's boyfriend decided to get ####ed (on my beer), make an idiot of himself in the restaurant, embarrass the entire family, come home, get more ####ed, start arguing with me (apparently I'm an arse because I have a job), go upstairs, break some decorations, spill beer on the new carpet in the back room and end up splitting up with Tracey.

On the up side, we got rid of the wee ######.

Today has been spent drinking fine wine, port and beer. So that's good

Fantastic as usual, great company, good laugh and late nights. Visitors all away home now. I just dropped into work for a couple of hours but will head home shortly to relax in front of the TV.

Work Thursday and Friday then New Year at Alan's, I will have Monday off and maybe Tuesday not decided yet.

Great time of the year, I hope you all enjoyed it no matter where you were and I hope you all have a great year ahead of you.
