Whats a 3rd Gen Intercooler worth

Anyone got any thoughts on what a Gen3 intercooler might be worth, in good condition for age, MOTd and taxed till Mar 12, mileage is 98k (not sure if this is genuine though). Somebody left a note on her the other day asking if I'd be interested in selling - all the ones on ebay/autotrader seem pretty expensive. Not even sure I want to sell her. Thanks.

Only pics I have are from the early summer and not that great. I really hadnt planned to sell her, its just curiosity as to what I could maybe expect to get for her. Before anyone picks me up, if I was definately going to sell I'd post in the for sale section and pay the fees. I'm really just after a bit of guidance as prices seem to vary so much.

The intercooler should not in my view make a Surf so much more valuable than the non intercooled, but ebay/pistonheads/autotrader prices seem to defy this. ( although advertised prices are not necessarily actual sale prices).In a nutshell its worth what someone will pay for it, but in your position ( reluctant / undecided) seller Id be looking at 4 k and if I had to sell for financial or other reasons Id be looking at 3.5 and I would not accept a brass tack less.
Ive also assumed that by good condition you mean clean/shiny/well maintained and cared for/not minging inside/ and everything working.

yep everything works as it should, alloys probably need a refurb and tyres have maybe another 5-6k in them, had regular service/fluids etc. Never lets me down. Guess your right its worth what someone will pay - I just didnt know where to start. Thanks for the advice.

Feced wheels, worn tyres and unsure mileage, 2k was generous in hindsight.

Try some pictures in the for sale section you never know someone might bite.

Andrew's needed a turbo, a wing and a bonnet (I think). Was still a steal though.
