The weekend changed me tyres round again n noticed play in me Idler Arm !!
Never seen an Idler arm ball joint this ragged before ....
Bushes absolutely nacked yes !!
Checked n all was well n good for MOT in August 2011 ... n no offroading this year so far !!
So just check n make sure all ya balls (joints) are checked regular !!

I think mine needs doing. I have a case of the wobbly front end.

On Sunday I had a case of the wobbly rear end. Wheel spacer some how come loose
Thought I had blown my diff up (To be honest, not sure which is worse)

I'd say so! Really not sure what happened I'm usually pretty good with that kind of thing. Do you remember the thread from back in March I think it was when the police pulled me for the spacers - well that was the last time I had the wheels off. It's taken that length of time to come loose.

Wheel nuts are fickle things. When I was on the tools, there was a massive problem with Bedford CF ambulance wheels coming off. It turned out that the ambulance service torque spec. for the wheel nuts was different to the Bedford spec.. They were overtightening the nuts which resulted in them coming loose in use.

My spacer nuts are torqued to 113Nm (Original spec) and the wheel nuts to 105Nm as I had an issue with toffee studs. I check the wheel nuts monthly, the spacers less regularly.

Regarding the spare, you may well be, but regarding the other wheels you are not. I suppose I should start doing the spare as well, otherwise thats a good tire hanging off the back, unused and slowly perishing.

Would have rotated all Vince but in the case of me AT2's (I've not yet got the spare) Yet !!
