    The Ellery manual doesn't cover the front drive shafts, CV joints, CV joint boots or front diff. I found that a pain when I wanted to replace a split CV joint boot. Wonder if the Haynes manual cover that?

        Probably better then to have both, covers all then.
        Those CV boots can be vulnerable in 4wding. Here in the high country in New Zealand we have a sharp plant locally called Spanish lance and sliding of a slippery road last year with the steering full lock, one of these plants pierced the boot. The boot is exposed when the steering is full lock. With the wheels straight they are protected.
