Any surf gurus my neck of the woods?

Few little things I would like sorting out, well more like a few things I would like to look over with someone who has previous experience with surfs. Just hard to explain on the forum.

Yeh thats a good drive that like. That seems abit modest to me mate any post wanting advice u seem to have answers in my eyes that's a guru

Just thought if someone local with prior experience might shed some light on my issues or rule them out as nothing but me being fussy. What is 2.4 meant to idle at because mines about 500 surely that's to low? And if it's meant to be higher what could of caused the drop in rpm apart from adjustment?
