How much does broadband cost in the UK?

I've been promised ours will go up to 12mbs from the New Year.

9962 kb/s with virgin cable, cost me about £20 a month

I get about 6-7 meg broadband, but live out in the sticks. Not sure on cost as it is in with phone and sky.. Probably should know...

I've got 1.0mb download and 0.2mb upload. Going quite well today. If it rains heavily, we get nothing at all!
We dream of 5.0mb+ speeds.
Ah well, the joys of living in a rural area!

In £££'s not quite sure, had the contract for years originally with a mobile phone deal - the mrs sorts all that out, I just type.

2.5- 3Mb for me. Its hard to know what anyone pays simply for broadband because it tends to be all mixed up with various degrees of phones and TVs and free calls and all kinds of delibarately confusing junk.

Ive got my broadband from BT and its all joined up with phones and BT vision. I think I have option 2 with the basic vision package. 21 pounds a month ??. Cant remember but check the various websites, its all there. In other words, USE THE SEARCH BUTTON , and with the speeds you get it should be easy.

I just wondered roughly, I think it's about 18 quid here with unlimited d/load.
But one neighbour is connected and me and 2 others chip in monthly. He has a server in the basement and we have networked the 4 houses up.
