Hi guys is post hacking or post altering the norm on this site, why is it alowed to go on ?, im not sure why they do it ,must be something missing in there lives a little sad

Tech stuff should be kept more serious, unless it's a deadloss or stupid post, as some are.

There are several reactions you can adopt:

1. Ignore it
2. Acknowledge the post in good humour
3. Retaliate in a similar vein
4. Post something to the effect that the miscreant is a complete fecktard and you will remove his parts with a rusty hacksaw when you next meet him

Note that 4. only works if you're hard enough to deliver on your commitment - not recommended when you're dealing with people who are not known to you as they may be very large, really evil or just complete psychos

Like Bob said, people only quote you and then give it a twist for fun, or if they are really annoying, or a cross dresser..

No one can change your actual post apart from a moderator, or someone who has your log in details. if thats what you mean.

A post will only get moderated if its inappropriate, or sometimes if someone messes up the tags posting a link, picture or a quote I'll fix it quickly so it works.
