Was best man at a friends wedding in a little town called Huntly around an hour from Aberdeen.

Its been a while since I've been and forgotten how much I love the people and the landscape. Empty, craggy and with lots of rivers works for me.

Some of the food was... interesting and sometimes like stepping back about 20 years. Best spot was:
Chicken Maryland - Chicken with a banana and pineapple fritter with a bacon and sausage garnish.

Having said that, the scotch pie is a thing of beauty, hence my bag was stuffed with 6 to bring home with me.

We haven't been able to make our presence felt North O' the Border this year, but gotta agree Paul marvellous place n people ain't bad either.
We'll be making up for it in 2012 if they'll have us !!
