      I saw it earlier, I would have thought he should have had a spotter to check all round when he was landing in such a tight spot. I can see him getting his arse kicked from the aviation bods for that one.

            Sorry bring up yesterdays thread but been away and just read this,
            I live here in nz where this happened, heres an extract from the news report,

            "The helicopter was working to put up the city's Telecom Christmas tree, when it appeared to clip a wire and spin out of control."

            Hows that for a really expensive way to put up a christmas tree!!!
