Not an expert - but in Saudi kids go hungry in the street...there is serious poverty in Saudi with no free health care or education, there is a hugh division between the have and have nots.

Education is free in Saudi. I believe that they have a national health service which is predominantly or entirely free, though would stand to be corrected.

You will see lots and lots of beggars and extremely poor people in Saudi. But they aren't Saudis - they are migrant workers, who are treated like 5h1t. It is the same in Qatar, Brunei - all the oil rich states - the locals drive round in Landcruisers and Bentleys on free everything, while the immigrant underclass provides the labour and generally gets ####ed on.

Like I said, suggesting that invading Libya for the good of its people is a load of arse. Gaddafi started pushing his luck, so we had to end him. Siding with a bunch of lunatic psychopath rebels was convenient and expedient, so we did.

But Libya was no bed of roses beforehand, and won't be after either IMHO.

I think Libya is in a very ###### time, the rebels were killing each other during their fight with Gaddafi, now comes the power struggle.

Libya had its prisons and they were nasty places he was softening in his old age I believe his error was in trying to abandon the west and ####ing off western interests, suddenly its time for a new government.
