      Thanks Tony

      I really need a supplier who will do cut lengths ,the pre made kit will be good for the sus lift but this is for replacing the pipes that run down the chassis and over the fuel tank to the lspv,can't really be asred to pfaff about with copper bends and flares when a nice bit of ss braided hose will do.

            I'm only guessing here, but I wouldn't fancy making the front to back lines from flexi, even braided, it'll still flex a little.

            Common sence says make as much as poss from rigid pipe.

            But am only guessing.

              @Tony

              Fair point,the reason for using the ss braid was for ease of use,ie undo at coupling by front o/s wheel and undo at lspv and effectively bolt in the new ss braid.
              What you say does make sense,I have no reference point to either agree or disagree.

              I just need a cheap and easy way of fixing the brakes(I am getting enough grief of SWMBO as it is for breaking the surf she is 100% convinced that the brakes the exhaust blowing and the air pipe collapsing is all due to a little bit of greenlaning )
              I have yet to tell her that the arb mounts on the rear axle have been ripped off and the lovely poly bushes are probably buried in Salisbury Plain

              So and to hopefully finally put this to bed can you flair the steel? brake pipes with a hand flaring tool?

                The flaring tool has to be for brake line flaring, not the one you have for fridge pipe.
                I think it's a different angle. (not 100%)
                I done all the brake lines on my off roader in copper pipe, Not that bad a job, hardest part for me was getting the old parts off.
