Hi guys
Went out in the truck yesterday no probs came home had lunch then divide to go to the pub to watch the glory no probs after the game got into the truck and nothing call the wife ,she came and jump started first turn,run for about half an hour no probs
Got in this morning again nothing wouldn't even jump start any ideas?

did you feed it mince pies at half time

check the batteries - dirty terminals, voltage check, current drain.

if ok next is the starter motor and its circuit.

This problem is getting more and more common. Often it is a spillage or biscuit crumbs underneath them...

There where no dash lights at all until we connected the other car.then it turn a fired ok last night,this morning it was the same only it wouldn't start I don't think there was enough juice getting through.

Id say its a battery failing. I had same problem this year. One day would start fine, next morning dead . Jump start would start it and charge battery until next morning dead again. I knew one battery was new but got both tested anyway, turned out one battery had 2 dead cells which was killing the other battery too.
New battery fitted and no problems since.

Thanks. For advice .two new batteries today everything seem fine test will come when ii finish work after its been stood 10 hours.

Hi guys,this is no long a problem,as the head gasket/ head when yesturday.so gutted it hurts.not sure what I'm going to do now.

Sorry to hear that, bad things normally come in 3's but don't worry your alternator is also fawked so there your done!

The head went on mine 4 or so years ago so I know how you feel. I got an identical truck and used the old truck as spares. Still taking bits off it now!

There was a thread to a forum member whos head went a month or so ago but he swapped it out himself for around £650 ish but I guess it depends on time/money/ability/tools

Wouldn't have minded so much if it had happened in the spring/ summer,but just when ill need it with all the bad weather to come gutted.can't do it my self no time or skills.
